Noel Dazely wanted around £400 for the 1.4 Jazz! :eek: They were THE most expensive quote for the Jazz so far! The Teg would have been around £500 this year ffs! Soooo not impressed.

We've just tried to insure our 1.4 Honda Jazz with them after a years good service being insured with the Integra. Now VERY UNHAPPY with them!! :evil: - RUDE, PATRONISING UNDERWRITER - AND A RUDE ADVISOR WHO DIDN'T WANT TO LISTEN AND WOULDN'T PUT ME THROUGH TO A MANAGER OR ASSISTANT...

Personally, I'd reject the car. Honda do appear to be very reasonable and they are very willing to help. What do want for compensation/ and or resolvement of this issue? That's the most important thing. If you feel that you no longer want teh car, then that's what you need to tell them...

If you fancy a change, talk to Recognition on the CTRO forum. He did some great stuff with lights. He will also be able to advise on the fitting etc as he's pulled his dash out countless times :lol: The world would be boring if we all liked the same thing ;)

Have you guys been in a DC5? Is the FD2 a similar ride? I haven't upgraded the suspension on my DC5 and I'm happy with it TBH. I don't find it too hard at all.

Have you got any pics of your calipers??? Perhaps it could better diagnosed then? I noticed that the calipers wern't great on the CTR's I was looking at buying in 2005.. so when I bought my own, I painted mine in caliper paint (one of the best thing's IMHO I did to my Civic:cool:) Helped...

As others have said, the CTR's do have a habit of following the camber of the road. Both mine and my other half's CTR are 04 registered, and both exhibited a pull to left hand side whilst driving along. It's nothing to worry about, but if you're not used to it it feels odd (funnily enough...

It's personal taste I think.. I particularly picked my Satin Silver as I thought it looked the best, was the easiest colour to keep clean and looking nice (as chips etc aren't as noticeable) and loved it :lol: Although the Milano's with White wheels looked IMO a bit more unique.

That doesn't surprise me. The bronze isn't a particularly bad colour, but it's a little odd.. I've only seen it under fluorescent light though- perhaps it looks better in sunlight?

The other thought is to try a breakers yard??. Unfortunately, there is a high write off rate for Jap sports cars and so there a specialist breakers who have loads of spare parts. I've been looking for a rear spoiler and R32 parts for my Golf and I hadn't realised what great value breakers...

Hi Lottie I looked into the same part not long ago- try Tom or Sara at TGM in Fleet. If you mention that Natalie from the forum suggested you try them, you can get a discount. They are very competively priced and Tom always helps us out ;) They will be able to paint and fit it for you as well.

The new bronze colour is interesting too... saw this colour in the sunlight at work. Not one I'd own, but different. (They need it in White:cool: )

I looked into this and there is a roof rack to fit the three door Civic, which will hold bikes. If you look on e-bay under 3 door civic bike rack, you should find it. The 5 door civic bike rack wont fit though. Honda sell them as well. 8)

I agree with you Carl on the whole "car specific" plate. Might sell min whilst I can still get good money for it :lol: I'm happy to stick to just a normal plate TBH- mine happened to come with the car though :roll:

Update- ADH portsmouth have said there is a bike rack available for the Type R. It's the same as the one for the sport/3 dr. The only restriction for the Type R is that the max weight for the roof is 30kg. Their one costs £155.27 rrp. Bikes are fine 8) They don't sell the racks for...

The guy that I want to buy from said he bought a roof rack from Honda for his 51 reg Type R. Just calling Honda.... will let you know
