I picked up my FN2 from Toyota as a woman took it in to part ex, I did purchase 12 months from them for piece of mind but not had to use it thank god!

lowered car + 19" wheels = crawling over speed bumps!

on the plus side it will be very reasonably priced as I need it gone. I will hold for a forum buyer if I can. I shall clean her up and get it sorted asap. The car i want someone has just put me off so more research is needed I think

Unfortunately the car will need to go asap. I will put up a for sale ad on here as I would like it to go to a forum member. I will not get a dirty d but it will be a smaller sized petrol engine. Sad times!

there is a smooth air box mod you can do to slightly give you some more noise but generally if you want more asbo style noise you need an induction kit

I only ask I am changing my brakes, going ADL blueprint all round bar the front pads, they will be PBS pads and I will put in RBF600 brake fluid, but doing the additional brake lines are an extra £200 inc labour as they are a pain to change so was wondering if the extra £200 is worth it

Everyone mentions braided lines, does anyone notice a difference on these alone? I appreciate most people get them done with new pads and discs so they will notice a difference there but has anyone just changed braided lines alone and noticed a difference?

Yes should have gone with the recommendations of many on here in paying someone to fit the head unit! You learn the hard way I suppose. Still looks clean mine is overdue a clean!

You can get a seat rest cushion that sits on an elastic band to wrap around the top of the seat. Quite rare and pricey when they come up for sale on eBay occasionally

Why not just save your money and just buy lowering springs and change bushes that are worn?

That does look pretty clean, nice shine to the paint. Black wheels look good too. Engine bay could do with a clean. That induction kit looks cheap to me. Plenty of helpful/useful information on here for you to browse at your leisure!

Wind deflectors look good, although some child has took a red felt tip and drawn a circle on your alloys :D

Soo true, some people believe that spec 2's are decent all round tyre! I have just brought a new set of alloys but ditchfinders on and awaiting to buy some decent rubber! I cant even put my foot down as I am too scared I will loose control of the car!

Not a fan of the rear spoiler, the alloys needs to go. They look lost with the front wings

First modification is complete. Got rid of the tatty gear gator and replaced it with a new one from topgators. Out with the old in with the new went with the suede one

Teg looks pretty clean. She will more at home on track. I miss mine, such a raw aggressive car to drive on edge with ease.

yes they are. I do like them but they are a little more crashy with the car lowered so may change them. The more I look at them the more I like them though! We shall see!

Just read this from start to finish. Loving the attention to detail, a lot of people wouldn't have bothered with some of the ocd bits but hats off to you. Really like this, can't believe your knowledge on cars is so good and your knowledge on cleaning is err... Shocking!!

Mine does have a sound system in there as I saw a small sub and amp in the boot (lady owner) but I can't remember what headunit was in there! I will just wait till next week before I get the car and start playing with it!

My wife has barred me from spending money on it! Won't happen obviously but initial plans when I get it is to clean her and upgrade the sound system and then the tinkering will start once the funds build up!

I do like this. I should be a soon owner or a NHB FN2 soon. Any other plans?
