tp is paul west, he is in charge at tdi north nowadays, he has done loads of mapping on the hondata and is very thorough

i think it wil be mapped by Mark up there but i think tp is the best at mapping hondata in the north west

i dont think its quite 300bhp but yes, you can go back to the standard backbox

my 2004 civic has the red and white aux plugs on the back

if you are fitting the kit with standard alloys you need to grind a little bit from the back of the caliper

if you want a quieter exhaust the j's is not for you IIRC its very loud. the best compromise is probably the fujitsubo

you cannot map kpro to pass the emissions test on an MOT without a cat, IIRC tp tried it and couldn't do it

i had the spoon bpipe with the standard backbox and it was a bit raspy and a bit louder but helped the performance

you will probably be best with a spoon bpipe or a supersprint silenced bpipe (the spoon is also silenced)

as the cars air fuel ratio has been tuned you will probably get another 30-40 mpg

Engine torque damper which is meant to stop wheel hop but IMO all it does is transfer every shake of the engine to every interior panel, making them squeak constantly. it was like chinese water torture for me at every set of traffic lights, listening to plastic chatter against plastic!

B2UCE had an ep3 with a mugen twinloop and got a JRSC from tdi north fitted. during the dyno tune it was noticed the mugen twinloop to be restrictive so he changed to a BC catback and made 297bhp with it

if you are going down the FI route i would steer clear of the mugen, it is restrictive on JRSC civics

the reason they use nitrogen is because in compressed air there is moisture and tis escapes through the tyre wall but nitrogen cannot escape in the same way so (in theory) your tyres should not need pumping up

i think someone has a radiator for sale on CTRO, they were about £300 IIRC from honda a second hand one sholud be fine and i cant see it being too expensive ( or try it yourself!)

you will need hondata kpro to run a super charger because it is a piggyback module for your ecu to allow mapping, this is about £750 for a mod to your ecu OEM is just the name for standard parts

i was thinking about cams but the gains are not brilliant per £ spent, ask G what happened with the new skunk cams but for the extra cash you would be better buying a supercharger IMO

IIRC a lot of the parts are bought in, at fords halewood in Speke there aer loads of companies that supply specific parts (seats etc) straight into the factory

This was taken at chobham test track on friday, as i went down for tdi north as a lightly modded ep3 when i was there mclaren turned up and did a shakedown of 2 mclaren merc slr convertibles, very nice sound!

its a k20 engine isn't it? theres loads of dress up bits, spoon do a yellow rocker cover but the quality of their spark plug cover is terrible quality the mugen one is £££ too

the wheels are rota torques, i dont know about the nuts

i dont think so, its just thats a couple ive heard of that give good figures

IIRC the oem difff is only good to a certain power (250 ish) so if you plan any more power then i'd go for the maintenance free option

impressive figures mate, i have heard of a few premiers now with good figures, Al Greenes premier made 238ish at the fly with just kpro, gruppe m and BC catback

i had this problem but luckily it was just a blocked jet it sounds like the pipe is blocked rather than a leak TBH, you will have to remove the pipe from the pump and try to blow air down it ( i used my little tyre air compressor with a fitting for pumping up lilo's) sorry, im not much help!

ive got a DC sports manifold and spoon bpipe with standard backbox its just right IMO, i had a spoon n1 on too but that was very loud indeed and woke the baby up at 5.30 every morning when i got it out of the garage!

you dont need to remove the nut, there are 2 countersunk philips screws holding the disc on, you will need an impact driver to get these out

the cams are a bit aggressive for most people on here though, you need a built engine im just waiting for someone to try out the new skunk cams..................
