It depends where you buy from, I paid a premium as I got it from my local seat dealer. Mine was the facelift with the newer CR engine. All the extras, I paid 10995. Can be had for less.

This was a weekend car until my work car died. My mate keeps trying to sell me a pre face nhb, but it's not worth paying the insurance/tax just for it to sit in the garage.

Take it to a friendly mot tester if you no anyone. Fitting it is a risk you have to take, if you don't drive like a nob, you probably won't get pulled.

Why would anybody pay that sort of money for insurance. If I was to pay that much, 1. I had won the lotto, 2. It wouldn't be a ctr.

I think the standard b-pipe is smaller than that.

It could with alot of work, IMO I would find something to match the b-pipe. 3inch is more suited to turbo/charged cars.

The b-pipe is the same on the dc5 and ep3, the back box is longer though on the dc5.

Most bits already sold, strut brace, tie bar, short shifter left.

Also just got a house aswell, with out doubt the type r is the best car I have ever owned. maybe be back one day.

New time of 13.7 on budget tyres.

Them and the short shifter helped lol, I think I could do even better with some decent tyres or 888's.

Did you put the metal clip on the plastic before clipping it back on the the ball? Makes it loads easier if you did.

Fitted the tie bar today, took about 40 minutes to fit. Give the spoon a quick polish aswell.

10 minutes to fit, really easy mate. Dark wheels on milano = win

Good to see your keeping it mate. I have 10 groove crn discs with ds2500 pads all round on mine, they are awesome over oem.

I like them, only in white without the stripes though. Can they be removed? My mate has a silver one with Matt black stripes.
