have you noticed much of a difference between the stock ep3 set up and dc5 manifold? i should be getting mine all fitted in few weeks and then will get the car dynoed to see the dfference between stock

hmm thanks for the info guys suprised at the differences between a race header as thought a dc5 4-2 and a decat would be closer but suppose thats the price you pay to keep it easy for mot time.. may change in the future though depending on what i decide to do with the car but for £150 guessing...

Yeah not expecting a massvie difference until i get the decat section but wont be doing that untill i get a kpro/k100 as dont want to run the risk of running lean etc

Replikit have been making bodykits for years, allthough have also had loads of negative feedback as well personally i wouldnt go near them..

I would hardly call £600+ for the manifold/sports cat cheap maybe the £200 ebay stuff but £600 is a fair chunk of cash, + it saves paying every year for manifold swaps which will not be cheap

If i have a manifold upgrade and then get a k100 will i need a o2 simulator? And looking to fit a manifold and exhaust system to the car first and then say a week later get a rbc fitted along with a k100 + mapped. Now ive been told i will be fine to run the car on the standard ecu for a week...

Bit off topic but what do tgm do are they like a type r specialist, i,e do they do mapping etc as there doesnt seem to be a list etc of what they do just stacks of positive feedback which is good just for a newbie like me i havent clue what services they offer?

iirc the cat isnt a part of the mot, the car just needs to pass a emisions test so in theory if you could get the emissions low enough then it would pass without a cat allthough i think the chances would be pretty slim

Will these actually pass a mot though? as would love hid's but been told that the lamps have tp have a certain marking on them? and also have headlight washers? in order to pass a mot as the vehicle wasn't fitted with them from stock

Surely you dont HAVE to map it as everyother car ive ever had you can stick a full system induction etc on and theres no need for a remap, yes i understand that a remap will make the best of it all and gain a few more horses but surely its not a necessity?

I dnt think ive heard a spoon etc just from what ive read on here that there not really track friendly? im not gonna be doing loads of track days or anything probably just a couple times a year i just dont want to end up with a exhaust that stops the fun :D
