I see why you've done it like that but I thought the longer induction pipes produced more bhp . I don't know for sure why , could be to do with the air pressure in the pipe and would vary according the length and bore

Even still the whole engine bay gets dusty , you have a photo of your set up ,do you just have a straight pipe coming from your throttle body then and why did you need to moved the battery to the boot ? ( I know it is common to relocate battery )

Front and rear engine mounts . Iv up graded mine and its cured alot of noises. Get slightly more rumble in the car as its alot stiffer .

Yeh it's ni-on the same just don't have the sticker saying AEM. Iv been looking at getting a cone with a heat shield , to help stop water entering. But I think a mushroom would sound betta/louder .

I have got a induction pipe to fit on the ep3 next weekend. ( long arm / krone or ally look) unbranded. It does not come with a filter and Im not sure what's best, a cone filter or hks mushroom?

I've fitted a new clutch kit and lighter flywheel and been driving for a couple of days and its amazing,but my bite-ing point is at the top(too high). And need it lower. I assume this is done on the peddle?

After bolting on a new clutch this weekend I found me front subframe/ engine mount was knacked and am sure this is causing alot of noises. You carnt really tell unless you remove the mount that it's split all the way through.

Just thought the ep3 is a chain so there would be oil present , iv seen these covers on supra's and evos which have belts. ( how did I miss that lol. My faidanza flywheel arrived !! However on inspection one of the screws had a worped head!! I didn't have time to send it back and mess...

I kinda do the same , I now think its ether , that sharft shild,top mount, steering rack(steering) or cheap links

Dont bet on it , iv done that (with out coilovers) + have a fast road engine mount, upper brace and I still get odd suspension knocks n creaks . Don't get me wrong it's lovely and stiff ...at the front. Most performance parts are noisy in general. If you want quiet go oem

I'm sure I have seen ads for honda gearbox refurbishments on a certain web site. Not sure in total costs but I recon it would be worth it for piece of mind.(if they are a gearbox specialist) and give it a hamerite paint treatment while she's off.

I have this to. And I have/had new powerflex front lca + arb bush's, new staberlizer links and a vibe tec engine mount. Only when slow and turning I get a knock or a strange creak I'm ether thinking its a drive sharft, or steering area ( track rod ends/ I see a thread about a slider in the rack)

I've seen cat for ep3s (used) go for 100£ , you would have to be mad to pay £1200 for that. with the wing mirror a good way would be to replace the whole unit with a good second hand one. Theres lots of people breakig these cars,/ if the repeater still goes dodgy there's a good charnce it would...

Either you have a loose connection in your mirror or there's a knackered led. I personally would go to a garage for brakes , it's easy to do yourself and you save a fortune. It is hard to find a good garage you can trust to be honest.

Thanks for your reply - So there's already a "hole" for the spacer ? ( not sure how the spacer will work/fits) so even if I bolt it on and the fueling's out is that ok to drive with until I arrange the k100 and remap (remap's due anyways so could do with a few good mods to go with, I should...

Even still , there no blots going all the way through the floor for a heat shild , it's a rip off and a 10 min job ( spray the bolts with lube ;)

He's rite , mine will do it very rarely. there ripping you off, or it could be like my car was / is ... The heat shild was rusted completely so I cut the four bolt off, disconnected the sensors and the shields fell off , job done , no problems . So them being a "proper garage" it has to be fix...

What do you mean upgraded item? You still have the lightened flywheel in it too? Iv read that the standard clutch is good for 300bhp don't know how true that is .

XTD clutch stage 3 paddle and lightened flywheel £230 used for standard and modded cars seem good to me.

What are the final weights of those ? , will attempt to change myself with help from my brother , we changed the one on his evo so I think we could do this one ( I hope ) i drive another civic yesterday and the clutch was amazing !!! Real soft clicked into every gear(standard fly and clutch)...

I think if the top mount has gone you wouldn't really no until to take it off the Car ( release it from pressure and inspect ). have you renewed any links or bushes lately ?? Check the bolts for movement. just a thought :/

That I know of there's only the standard one or the bc adjustable ones ( for lowered cars ). The standard ones are cheap enough , just buy some spares if you drive like a loon or go on track days/ I think :/

The sportex is a 2.5" unsilanced - carnt see it makeing a different noise/note . You are rite in saying the stainless steel is better ***.

If I was you, I would drive to several body shops and just ask them how much to have it put right. they will respray part of the panel and blend it in - I think your looking about £80 ( mostly labour) so it will be worth it. It just depends on how much it bothers you :)

Done mine a few weeks ago - charged me £15, i put the battery in the wrong way first time, flipped it round and works grate. No coding or anything :)

I put new NT5000 nuton I think there called - grate all rounders(better than most in the wet) cheap and a performance tyre. The Goodrich ones were grate in the dry but dangerous in the wet. They do now NT8000 but have no idea wot there like.
