Thats a shame matey but a common issue, our Furby is still going strong with 34,000 on the clock, apart from vandalism and being shunted up the rear all has been well. I got a price from Jabba for lowering and the rear ARB fitting but the Mrs didnt seem keen :( Cheers AC;)

I am running the spoon set up at the moment with the JDM cat to go in at MOT time, it was fitted along with K-pro at TDi back in December, not had any problems with it but you need the front JDM bar too. From the unit 8 write up torque is better with the Spoon set up. The whole lot should be...

Drive was good mate, been in a hire car for the last 10 days, then passenger in a Scooby STi and EP3 before driving the DC, it did feel good though, very natural even though i was on the wrong side of the car for the road. Only did a few miles up the motorway so not a great variety in...

The screen is in and the only difference is the SOLAR tint to it when you look from outside AC :D

Got a huge crack in mine so its being replaced tommorow, bloke has just rung back saying the screens for the EP3 now being made are no longer top tinted as they are solar reflective all over (funny colour when you look from outside) and therefore dont have the tinted area at the top as its not...

The 500 is the outgoing model mate, the ?00 series has been replaced by the ?10 series now. I've used a TT700 for the last year and just upgraded to the 910 due to a slight problem within TomTom HQ in Holland. You can use it straight from the box, get updates from TomTom's website...

Spoke to my local OFT and the kit is going back within the 7 working day period under distance selling regs. If i loose my 10% £25 for the return of a faulty kit then they wont recieve the second set of bulbs they sent out this week, that will leave me £45 down for fault finding on one...

OK, changed to the new bulbs and just been out for a drive to check them out. Dip Full Not great pics as on the moby, both taken from inside looking out through the windscreen. Looks like i'll be taking the offer of a full refund as they "dont do what it says on the tin" AC :cry:

Thanks for that Paul, i'm told that they have sold hundreds of the Bi-xenon kit to satisfied civic owners, but so far no one else appears to have been sold the HIDS4U branded kit that i'm having problems with. AC :cry:

Yes mate, done all that and no joy, also messed about with the headlamp adjusters as the supplier was adamant that was the problem, now back with the old H4 bulbs after paying the local garage £10 to set the headlights up again and the supplier wants £80 deposit on some replacement bulbs...

V2 as fitted, i beleive that the pipe is twisted on the V2 pointing the filter away from the engine toward the wheel arch, but is straight on the Typhoon. AC 8)

They agree that there is no way to fit them wrong, can you see a way to get it wrong? I guess it will end up being replaced as no-one can see what could be the problem other than a faulty kit. AC :?

Hi mate, i see what you mean but a bit difficult to check without blinding myself, with the lights off the solenoid is in dipped position but you need power and full beam on to move the solenoid to check the capsule position. AC :)

Any prefacelift owners out there with the kit fitted had problems with the full beam? Fitted my kit yesterday and all was great on my night drive untill i switched to full beam, the road that had been lit by the dipped beam was plunged into darkness for 30+ feet in front of the car, the kit...

The kit is fitted fine and dandy, i'm not sure on the solenoid movement and neither are the suppliers, just that when you go to main beam the light that lit up the road on dipped dissapears leaving 30 ft of darkness in front of the car, like being on sidelights really but in pitch black. AC :(

All their own kit: It would appear that the solenoid does move the bulb when you go from dipped to full beam but something isnt right with where its moving to. Waiting for them to ring me with whats happening next. AC :?

Got a multimeter sat here but HATE electrics!!! I need to confirm the switching arangement for HID4U so they can diagnose my full beam problem. Any electricians can offer an idiot guide on what to do? Cheers AC :?

The lights have the offset lugs like normal bulbs so cant get them in wrong, then the back locks on so shouldnt be able to get anything wrong. AC :cry:

Now fitted and dipped is great!!! main beam is not so good though as no light is cast on the road?? Hope HIDS4U can sort me out ASAP as its not good at the mo. AC :?
