I also have a knock/rattle driver side changed drop links top mount and strut still knocking , garage say everything looks ok !!

HAD A NEW GAS SHOCK FITTED STRUT ,, FRONT DRIVER SIDE , NOW THE STEERING IS SLIGHTLY OUT ??? ANY IDEAS Was Fine Before it was fitted

take some paint from neighbour car then see if dna match

cars gone to garage now for its top mount just been over had a look top mount looks fine !! not what I wanted to here :( well whats next they have also check all bushes

i'm thinking new shock but its Fine over speed bumps etc , don't want to waste a 150-200 bill , part + labour to find out the noise is still there , the noise is horrendous on rough roads

if it been taken off a full system may differ , I would ask the seller if it was fitted to oem centre Pipe first

I lost my temper when changing mine so hard to get at broke the bulb in half trying to remove it , think you will need to remove the unit to fix !
