If the Supersprint part is longer than the stock part then how could it fit correctly? Is your tail pipe sticking out an extra 3-4 inches than normal? lol 924413 is for JDM models and the 924313 is the for European models. The difference between the two centre sections is the length.

All I do is an oil change every 20,000 miles or so and I check oil levels once a week and to pup when required. I did have transmission fluids changed at about 150k as well as spark plugs. I get them changed every 75k lol. Yes mainly motorway mileage cruising at 80ish. I get about 320-360 miles...

Well I'm a few thousand miles short of 200k and I'm still using the original clutch. What an amazing car this has been for the past 8 years! Last service was some 110k miles ago. Not bad.

Well I don't think the clutch will hold out for the big 200,000 as the car is slipping out of gear whenever it wants lol

My experience of 'Jap' brand exhausts is that most fall apart. They did on my CTR anyway. I tried most systems and they all failed after not very long. But I'm a high mileage driver, or I was back then. Luckily I was the UK imorter of Supersprint so I installed one of their systems on my CTR...

Honda rear section is tinny. Replaceing the centre section with a Spoon/Supersprint will just increase the tinnyness. It doesn't sound too bad though and many people have done this. Replacing that tiny diemater Honda centre makes a difference...

Get a decent airflow into a CDA and its a good filter for the money. As the airflow side of the CDA faces away from the front of the engine on a CTR, its not easy to get a decent flow of air into the CDA.

The usual result from fitting a 'performance' panel filter is increased throttle response. Because of this the fuel economy will improve also. Expect no difference in noise as you are still using your o.e airbox and airfeed. BMC have just released a panel filter for the FN2. I have stock of...

If you think LOUD exhausts are silly then don't get a spec III or Prospoec. They only get LOUDER and LOUDER and LOUDER

If you do quite alot of miles I would NOT recommend the Prospec. I used to have this. Initially it looks good. But it's made cheap sh!tty materials. I do about 1000 miles a week. The centre silencer (what there is of it) lasted about 2 weeks. Then the backbox insides fell to pieces and rattled...

My annoying heatshield was not the driveshaft heatshield. It was the catalyst heatshield. I just wrapped 2 stainless steel cable ties round it. Sorted :p

Mani heatshield only seems to annoy once within the entire rev range. The driveshaft seems to play its lovely tune twice. On my car, between 3000-3500 then again at 4200-4500ish

I'm having this problem now. So blooooody annoying! I change gear below 3000 now to avoid the annoyance! MPG is great though :lol:

Think there are some sound clips on the CTRO forum. I sell loads of Supersprint middle pipes over there and people just use the Honda rear box. Ideal if you want to save the $$$ but get shot of the very restrictive middle section. As far as I know the Fujitsubo gets a thumbs up from everyone...

Instead of getting an overpriced Spoon B pipe, get a Supersprint unsilenced and use your OE rear box ;)

Loud exhausts are ghey! ;) Get a Supersprint silenced midpipe and use your standard rearbox. But Supersprint silenced mid pipes aren't cheap. RRP = £301.35 including vat I'll sell one to you at £241.08 including vat with delivery at £10 I have 4 due to arrive with me today/tomorrow.

The OE Honda pads are actually more than good enough for 'normal' road use. Last a long time aswell.

Its actually had three services. Once at 12,000 before I owned it. The 2nd at 24,000 when I could be bothered and actually cared. The 3rd service was at about 112,000 :lol:

The stock has arrived and I am left with only 4 after the backorders were finalised. Only black seats at the moment. Looks like the red ones will be next year now.

I will find out the weight for you ASAP. These are base mounted seats and Sparco also make the car specific frames for the CTR EP3 £43 + VAT each side. I do need to get a confirmed date of arival for these. Then get pics of them fitted in my car. :p

It hasn't REALLY been neglected. I cleaned it before it went in:lol: . It was the shiniest CTR there! It gets driven hard at times but no more than it deserves. I often use Optimax, use good oil etc etc. Just hasnt had the regular service stamps :rolleyes:
