I have 215 - 40 -17 on my Enkies No problems with rubbing at all but they no longer protect the rim so be careful when parking etc etc.

You can always paint your dash and then you can change your HU without worrying if it will match.

Water and newspaper = streak free, does the trick for me. Spray the water on or just give them a quick wipe with the leather then clean with newspaper.

I wouldn't worry about using uprated springs with your OEM shock for the time being, I had no issues with the ABPs or Eibachs when using the OEM shocks. Granted, mine were not fitted for a great deal of time, but i'm pretty sure many members on here are using uprated/lowering springs with OEM...

IMO if ride height is such a big thing for you then saving up and buying some coilovers in the near future would be the best option. You say your not bothered if they eat your shocks so I guess you will be replacing them anyway so why not just go for coilovers? Then you can adjust the ride...

Sounds like the issue is to do with the wheels being too wide or the wrong offset. Nip a wheel off and find out the offset

I know some people have an issue when using Enkei Evo 8 wheels (they are also an 8J wheel) on a lowered CTR. Most go for arch rolling. But ive not heard of anyone having issues when they are still at the standard ride height. Can you jack the car up and see where the tyre is rubbing/catching ...

I'm not 100% sure with your Rotas, but with OEM wheels you do need 20mm spacers. My evo 8 wheels fit over and have about 10mm clearance. If you want to try your wheel over my brakes then give me a bell mate.

I know, four years :lol: I'm really pleased with the brakes. The old calipers had seen their day TBH, so fitting the Brembos with braided hoses was an instant improvement.

You want to get the Eibach Pro Kit (15mm 20mm drop) rather than the Eibach Sportline Kit. The Sportlines Lower by: Front: 45-50 mm / Rear: 30 mm.

The old versions used to be 35mm but now they are 30mm. Here's how it looked

I had the ABP 35mm kit a few years ago and was using the OEM tyre size 205-45-17 and had no issues with scraping etc etc. Make sure you get camber adjusters and a good FRSU.

I had one for around 3 days on the EP3 before destroying it. It did nothing apart from catch on everything. Car was low at the time btw Waste of money IMO. Oh and they are very dangerous if you driving down b-roads with camber on them. When it scrapes, it violently moves the car about :eek:

Yeah did them 1 at a time in the garage and took my time. Was the first time i had used rattle cans, just take your time and you will be happy with the results and the cash in your wallet. Only scrapped on huge speed bumps and multi-storey car parks i found, apart from that they were fine.

Thanks for the reply Mickey. I do not have an AMP fitted so i don't connected the remote lead. Everything works on the headunit bar the sound... Ive earthed the handbrake cable to the black earth cable on the ISO and it allows DVD playback on the move so that tells me the earth is ok.....

I fitted a JVC double din to replace my single din Alpine unit and have no sound at all now. I have checked the fuses, and had to replace the 'back-up' fuse located under the bonnet. No sound from DVD's, CD's, radio or anything.....:mad: Anyone had this issues before or any ideas what this...

Mine was recently mapped by MASE at SRR. It has 147K on the clock and still made 213.1WHP If your car has been looked after then mileage is not an issue imo.;)
