It catches on speed bumps and on the ramps at my work, it won't go on the parking post at my house now either, so ive just unbolted and it lives in the boot. Looks and handle really well though.

You say you are already 65mm down?! Mines lowered 30mm and the underside catches on bits enough as it is. Anywhere near 100mm would be undrivable i would've said.

Cheers lads, im going to do a few bits under the bonnet soon. Nothing performance based, just tart it up a little.

It'll be something very minor im sure, i know the rear brakes are ok as i had them apart not long after i got the car as i was cleaning them up and painting the calipres.

I phoned honda for a price on a few trim bits etc today and the lad on the phone said my car has an outstanding warranty claim for a rear brake problem. The reason im asking is he would'nt tell me what it is, anyone heard about this? It seems strange to worry about my car, its an 02 plate...

Glad you got it back mate, i know it sounds strange but how do you feel about taking it back? Ive known a few people that have never wanted there cars due to the condition etc, but then they were properly knackered!

Its been a while since ive done anything to the car, ive fitted a silencer bung i got off loxy. The car also wears a roof rack now, only for when im riding then it comes off again, ive taken a few pics over the past month or so, so i thought id stick them up.

Sounds to me like the wheel alignment is out, hence the slight pulling. And id say the drowning noise you are hearing is a rear tyre going out of shape.

I would contact the bloke you purchased it from and tell him all the problems you have with the car and ask what he is going to do for you. Either keep the car and he pays for the repairs, id then sell it on personally. Or give it back to him and get your money back and walk away and buy...

I finally got round to taking it to autotest in norwich on monday for the fast road set up. I know the car is ment to be a big transformation once you have this done but im just nor sure if mine was either done correctly or im just being daft but it seems to handle strangely in a straight line...

Thanks for that, it does seem very loud. How do you find it for everyday driving? I fold the supersprint unberable, i removed it within two days.

I currently have a spoon n1 back box on a toatally stock system, i once had a un-silenced supersprint b pipe but it was way too loud so i took it off. Im now after a aftermarket silenced b pipe, but im a little concerned at how loud it will be compared to the standard b pipe. Any advice...

Id like to do a few little bits, all cash allowing really. I want a b pipe to go with the spoon n1 i have, id also like an induction system too but im also saving to move out so cash is a little tight at the minute.

Little bit too far away really, as im toying with the idea of getting it recovered in so id like it to be fairly close to home so i can pop down there if needs be.

Mine sounds alot more serious than just a heatsheild rattle to be honest, it sounds like it could be possibly be coming from the engine.

Check your tyres first, you never know one may have gone out of shape.

Ive got the new abp springs on mine and they are great bits of kit, no noises atall.

I love my mats, not sure if i want to fit the red carpet yet though.

My camber bolts arrived today, so im going to fit them and the arms and build up the wheels and tyres on saturday after work! Then i'll be off to get it all set up :cool:

Im just not sure if i want the full on red interior, i love the mats but i think the carpet maybe a little too much. I quite fancy some of the accord type r seats to match the rest of my interior and just leaving it like that really. Id sell it if someone offered me good money for it.

I got a few removed when i first got my car, it now looks in great condition again. I was very happy with not having to get the rear quater painted :D

That little lot should stiffen it up nicely, i dont think i could ever run my car with no rear seats though.

I have'nt no, i got all the paint and primer from halfords but i was informed by a friend that normal will not be upto the job and i may require satin lacquer? I was going to wax them before i built the tyres up anyway.

Not yet mate, i need some camber bolts first and get it all set-up then i'll stick them on, i can't wait!

I had a very busy weekend of refrubing the slipstreams, i wanted to do them myself as i knew id be able to pull it off and save myself a fair bit of cash in doing so, im very happy with the results. First of all i painted on some paint stripper to get rid of the lacquer on the polished ones...

They lower the car 35mm and i got them from abp motorsport mate.

They are the new ones yeah, im going to let the springs settle in for a month and then im going to be fitting the bolts and arms.

I fitted these to my car yesterday and they are really good. The ride is pretty much the same as it was before but it seems to handle alot better. Im looking forward to driving it with a fast road set up.

A sticking pad in the caliper will also cause this loud bang, if a set of brakes has'nt been serviced for a while then rust can build up and get in the way of the pad moving in the carrier. Its a very common problem with hondas, you can simple sort this out by removing the pads and regreasing...

Yeah i got mine second hand dude, ive found a few sets that i like but its just deciding one which ones i want.

I had this problem on mine when i first got, i was going mad with the lock and unlock button on my alarm fob. In the end i walked away from it and its been fine since, i think i may have confused it by pressing it alot. It may be worth leaving it for a bit and seeing if it clears up.

I had a 205/45/17 tyre set up on my old car, not a type r but a punto :rolleyes: It was quite a harsh ride for a fairly small car. The standard tyre size for a type r is 205/45/17.

After seeing the error of my ways of thinking that the facelift rear lights are nicer ive gone and picked up another set of pre facelift :D
