What car is it for a start?? If it's anything other than a pre-09 FN2 the spoiler already has LED's in it.

The small one is the clutch fluid. There is no power steering fluid as it's electric.

Same as any other car really, disconnec fluid hose and undo the two bolts holding the caliper to the hub.

Capital seating do covers specifically tailored for the FN2, I had one for mine, fitted like a seat shaped glove and very well made, about £50 iirc.

I don't think you can buy the shims separate..... think they only come with OEM pads....

The plastic shims stop the squealing, the metal ones are just to stop the pistons chewing up the plastic. Another way to prevent squealing to apply copper grease to the rear on the pads.

Yes the shims will fit any pad as long as it's the correct pads for the car. You need 4 plastic shims and 2 metal ones. Every pad has a plastic shim and then the pads on the piston side have a metal shim inbetween the plastic shim and the piston.

Yes, otherwise I wouldn't have suggested it! That's how you lock an EP3 without activating the ultrasonics, it's in the owners handbook. Do it with a window open then after a minutes stick your arm inside and wave it around, it won't go off.

There was an issue with the ultrasonic sonic sensor being over sensative and going off in the night. I bought one brand new in 2003 and the alarm was going off in the night within days of picking it up. The sensors were changed within a week under warrenty. One way to prove it is the sensors is...

You're meant to fill until it pours out (on a level surface), that way you know there's enough in. If you just put in the same volume you've drained out and the level was low to begin with then it'll be low again.

Creaking top mounts = Tighten them up. That's what my Honda dealer did to fix the problem when my EP3 started to creak...........

If there battery was completely flat before you even started it was already scrap so just get a new one.

H4 is what you need for a pre-facelift as it has both full and dipped beam in the same bulb.

The fuel pump cut off switch if behind the glovebox, there's instructions and drawing in the owners manual.

I reakon you'll have a right battle on your hands..... 1) You've no proof the dealer left the sump plug loose and 2) A brand new engine is about £9k from Honda....... Good luck though.

Either replace the wing or get a plate welded in the whole.... either way its a reasonable amount of work.

Looking at the state of it I agree.

Heated seats aren't availble on the FN2 so that's why they don't work.... The wires under the seats are for airbags and seatbelt sensors.

It's a bit pointless when they'll be coming after you for the keys anyway......

No, it's actually normal for it to use upto 1litre every 1000KM which 620Miles. It's states this in the owners manual so there's no one to blame but yourself, you should be checking the oil every week, it actually states in the manual to check it every time you fill with fuel.

The EP3 dash is design to take a double DIN and doesn't need a fascia.

Yeah there's no adjustment at the caliper end..... Another problem could be seized calipers...... or the pads are shot.

Yes, it's a reserve for the radiator. Only fill it to the 'MAX' marking. There's details/drawing in the owners handbook.

The temperature sensor won't work if there's no coolant to sense. ;) Fluid volumes are in the owners handbook and it should tell you what type of coolant to use.... it's one of Honda's own RFU ones iirc....

First they'll need to get approval from Honda UK for the warrently work at which point they'll order the parts.

Low flud won't bring on the ABS light, you get the hand brake warning light for low fluid.

Looks like it's just one bulb for the whole lot Number 1 on the this drawing. Hope it's that anyway as the heater control unit, number 2 is £700! :shock:

So you're fitting a short shift kit to reduce the throw and then extend the the stick which will increase the throw?... :freak:

I ran both my EP3 and FN2 on Castrol Edge 0w30 as that's what Honda recommend in the manual and that's what my dealer used and did a combined 70k miles in the two cars and the universe didn't implode so I was happy with that.

Just bear in mind that polycarbonate headlight lenses are painted with a clearcoat to protect them from scratches and UV light, so if sand through that then they'll take even more work to maintain them.

Just get the newest, lowest mileage, best condition you can afford/find.

Three days after I got it while cleaning it I found the whole re-quarter had been resprayed despite the salesman telling me it had never had any repairs done on it (it was their demo).... So I took it back and after a 45 minute heated discussion they admitted it had been scratched last June so...

Well after about 5 weeks of stress i'll be returning this to the dealer tomorrow and picking up and almost identical (albeit with a slightly better spec and lower mileage) replacement..... :lol:
