if it were me, and I had a cosmic sport, I would keep the black H badges and fit a carbon fibre mugen-style wing. Rather than make it look like a Type-R (which it isn't) just make it look like a modified sport....and in doing so, making it look better than a Type-R

I found that my insurance very slowly came down year on year. No big drops when 21 / 25 / 30 etc etc That was my experience anyway.

don't do it, waste of money. It won't make it any quicker, your insurance will go up, it will sound like a boy racer and people will probably think your an idiot when they see an aftermarket exhaust on a sport. get an aftermarket exhaust for a car which can make use of one just find out...

They chose the wrong name for it. It's not really bronze. It's black with a gold flip when the sun hits it. I'm sure Hondas Marketing team could have come up with a better name

FD2 is a different car, it's just called a civic type-r but it's nothing like ours Everything about it is better, but then again it costs alot more Don't forget you can pick up an FN2 for around 10k where as an FD2 will still set you back £19k

I paired a Spec IV with a DC Sports manifold and that wasn't at all boomy. Yes it was louder but because the IV is quite raspy it was just right and sounded :twisted: I really miss that car :(

I spent ages researching exhausts and came to the conclusion that no exhaust is perfect. The ones you mentioned are all pretty loud and boomy. In the end I decided on the Spec IV as it, a) Looks Great, don't go on pics as it's really nice in the flesh b) Sounds AMAZING (and its not over...

You won't because they are VERY rare which is also part of the appeal. You'll sure get some looks. They are import only. If you chat to Andy at 200bhp http://itr-dc5.com forums he'll be able to sort you out with a minter. You'll end up paying less than an FN2 for a MUCH higher spec car...

well you must have over 20k to spend and to be honest, if I had that amount no way would I buy an FN2 at least test drive an FD2 mate, you can always say no afterwards If you HAVE to buy one, get a normal GT from a dealer for 15k

If they didn't have their heads rammed up their ar$ses and actually listened to what customers wanted they 'may' not be in the position they are in now.

What really winds me up is that Honda UK are only releasing the CW FN2 due to the economic downturn. When the FN2 was first released they knew the UK market were crying out for one in CW yet they held back stating that CW was destined for the JDM market. This has been the same for years and...

agreed on the spec IV. The noise is just heavenly :cool: It's like nothing I've heard before. Not a deep drone like most but a higher pitched sports bike type noise. The only prob is the centre section and the springs.

Honda have been using white primer and thin paint for years. My EP3 was terrible after 12 months of light use. on contrast, my 53 plate ford after 41k miles hasn't a single stone chip :eek:

I had an AEM V2 and a Gruppe M all things considered, if I was modding again I would just buy a good quality drop in filter and do the hondata mod. The Gruppe M is very good but IMHO not up to the hype or without problems. The money saved can be put towards something else like an exhaust...

It has dipped tinted windows, red door card inserts BUT grey carpet rather than red The civic sticker has gone and the type-r one looks on the c0ck VERY strange

remove all the boot flooring and youll see a screw hole dead center towards the top (just behind the rear seats) sand the silver paint off till it's all chrome then earth to that

depends on which track they are on The astra will put some distance on the straights but may struggle on the corners. I guess it all depends on how much of a lead it generates early on.
