Had my A3 detailed - no dial up!

There are so many factors it would be hard to say, e.g. some chaps do this on a part time basis so might be cheaper than the pros, it also depends on whether or not your car requires machine polishing to remove paint swirls, cost of the products they use, etc. This is what the guy I used...

Had my A3 detailed - no dial up!

The work was done by Iain Brown from Finerdetails and a fine job he did to. This is his post on the detailingworld forum: - A request for some paint correction to an Audi A3 following an unfortunate trip to a brush car wash. The owner decided to opt for the Full Swissvax Detail too...

    CTR with a massive mole...

Could not have put it better myself. The seller's comment is a fairly transparent attempt to put a positive spin on the lack of aircon, which rightly or wrongly is highly desirable in the used market.

    CTR vs GTI mkV

Maybe I drove a rogue example (demo car so likely to have been hammered) so happy to take your word for it on the brake front. They felt a bit over servoed (although not half as much as my A3's) compared to CTR.
  58. garypaul

    CTR vs GTI mkV

CTR is faster, has better brakes, more hardcore suspension. Golf has better steering and more easily accessible performance on a day to day basis (i.e. on the motorway, not having to change down etc) and is more comfortable. Both are good cars but in completely different ways

    Aftermarket Wheel - Now Fitted

Yep - I wouldn't have any worries having one of these steering wheels if I had a something like a sparco seat with a six point harness, but with a good old inertia belt I would rather keep the airbag.
